When he first came to the Sox he joined our team on the road in Texas.

Away Games:

Everett bats 6-14. That's batting .430! Everett also had one homerun, 4 runs, and 4 RBI's in four away games.

I was at the Tigers game last Friday when Carl Everett played his 1st game in the Cell this season. We cheered loudly at his arrival, but he struggled.

Home Games:

Everett is 2-16. That is a woeful batting average of .125. Carl has zero runs, RBI's, or homeruns during 4 home games.

I will be at the game tonight with 11 other people. He better bring it for this twinkies game!

It is a small sample size. I'm gonna wait a little longer than 4 games before I conclude that he struggles at home. However, last night

Three words: Small. Sample. Size.

For the years 2001-2003, Everett had much better numbers at his various home parks than on the road. For those years, he's played at three good hitters parks, Fenway Park, Ameriquest Field (FKA the Ballpark in Arlington) and the Cell.

Even 100 ABs wouldn't be enough to judge this.

It's cause the Field Museum is too close, and the even thought of Dinosaurs distract Crazy Carl

Clev and Texas pitching < Det and Twins pitching very could be the reason why Everett has struggled.

Repost this thread in two weeks. We should have a much better idea of Carl's impact on the White Sox.

All I know is that Carl Everett strangly resembles the man I saw begging for quarters at the Roosevelt subway stop.

Next time you see me, please give me more than 2 Quarters. Alcohol and Korean hookers aren't cheap, ya know.
