What do you guys consider the most impressive thing for the White Sox thus far this season?
I would have to say how we're able to keep every game close, even in defeat. It never seems like we're truly out of a ballgame. In fact, if you look at the top 6 teams in the American League, we have the smallest run differential in defeats.
White Sox: Outscored by an average of 3.02 runs per defeat
Twins: 3.76
Yankees: 4.15
Red Sox: 3.88
Oakland: 3.28
Texas: 3.36
This is a tribute to out starting pitching, relief corps and our offense. We're not getting blown out early, our relievers aren't letting too many games get out of hand, and we're always battling back.
90% of our losses have been by four or fewer runs. Compare that to 67% for the Twins, 61% for the Yankees, 65% for the Red Sox, 77% for the A's and 72% for the Rangers.
