I wonder the same thing when I see the likes of Jackson, Adkins, Cotts, etc. stroll out to the mound. I get the righty-lefty thing, but I'd rather have Kelly out there than Jackson any day.

Jeff Bajenaru or Felix Diaz, I'd rather see either of them coming out of the pen over Jackson right now. Adkins was just throwing strikes, he was up by a ton, not trying to fool anyone, but the Rangers still had their starters in trying to pad their stats swinging for the fences, what you gonna do?

He had Tommy John Surgery in May 2002, and came back pretty quickly, he learned a cutter (more of a slider/cutter mix)to go with his FB, change, and knuckle-curve. He was a 36th rounder in the 1999 draft out of U. of Oklahoma and was moving up rapidly until his injury. He throws his fastball in the legit low 90's. He's only about 6'1" and around 190 pounds or so.

"There's a problem in the cockpit!"
"The cockpit? What is it?"
"It's the little room where the pilots sit. But that's not important right now."

"I just wanted to tell you both good luck and we're all counting on you."

Dead arm, who knows how long. Let me know when he get's that 5 mph back on his velocity, until then, he's a LH'd Koch.

Enough with the Wunsch Conspiracy threads, he was the ultimate team player and a fan favorite, but if he gave them the best chance to win, don't you think he'd be here?
