We seem to be bonding with our anti-Cub Redbird allies with this CardsClubhouse.com thread (http://cardsclubhouse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6217). Of course, a Cub fan then gets on and starts this new troll thread (http://cardsclubhouse.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6221) as a result. Like we did with our friends at MarlinsBaseball.com, I say we become members of CardsClubhouse.com using our WSI handles and strengthen our anti-Cub alliance with Cardinal Nation.

Great post, Viva! I didn't have a lot of time to scan through the entire site, but it looks promising. St L is a great bball town, lots of fun afterwards too. And they hate those LL's!!!!!!! They know bumpkins when they come to town.

That board is very strict. If you cause any sort of controversy they get all over you. I think Nellie Fox said a word, not even a bad word, and they started saying "let's take it easy on the profanity"

They already locked the thread with the Sox fans, even though nothing bad was going on.

Yeah they are strict with language and controversy. I dont mind the language control they did mention kids do read there boards, wheras ours our run by a bunch of young guys who basically all know each other. We are a tighter knit group then them its seems always having local hang outs, nevertheless that site is still damn good and repsectable. Those fans are very wise.

This message board might be a little more active than the one you posted.

I admire the passion of the Cubs fan in his response thread. Unfortunately, the image of Wrigley and Wrigleyville as party central is what sells that team. Its the image that many self-proclaimed Cubs fan project. Listen, I live just outside Chicago, and anytime I hear anyone talk about going to a game, its all about the bars and drinking, not about who they are playing (unless, maybe, the Cards are in town) or how the team is doing. Maybe I'm just jealous of that.
