With the trading deadline coming up, this thread should be dedicated to the moves that really have no direct effect on the White Sox getting into the post season. That being said:

The Mets trade OF Karim Garcia to Baltimore for P Mike DeJean.

The Mariners trade SS Rich Aurilia to San Diego for a player to be named later or cash considerations.

This pretty much clinches it for the Orioles and the Padres. God......I'm getting tired of Baltimore and San Diego year after year.
