Maybe Jacque Jones can piss and moan some more.

"Man, if we had only played better, we would have won. And when you win, you get closer to first place. Right now, we haven't played that well, so we're not in first. You know, that team in Chicago isn't even that good. If they were so good, why aren't I on their team? Pfft. Magglio. I'm better than him. What kind of a name is that anyway? Magglio. He needs a man's name, like Jacque, or Torii, or A.J. He's not on the team any more? No ****. I hope you guys don't print this else I'd look really clueless."

Thank you KC!! :bandance:You can thank Grant Ball-Four (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/profile?statsId=6765) who walked 3 Royals in the bottom of the 10th.

Well, seeing the Twinkies lose 3/4 in KC makes me feel better about losing 3/4 in Oakland.

Damn, we better win this division over a team that loses 3 of 4 games against the Royals.

The Sox are getting extremely lucky (or maybe the Twins are... I'm not sure). We need to go on a good long winning streak.

Other good news are that Joe Mauer's knees are as bad as Ron Karkovice's...

"Notes: Catching corps beat up
Mauer will get time to rest sore knee"

Does destiny take time off when the Sox are on the West coast?

Wasn't Matt LeCroy catching for them the last few innings?

True, but I'm more concerned with the Tigers, who played us tough even when they stunk.

"i dont' want to take anything away from the royals, but if we had scored more runs today, it wouldn't have been pretty for them"
