He's available but he's 33 and is signed next year for $9 mil. He has a no-trade clause he's have to waive. With all the talk about Kendall, there isn't a lot of talk about CJ. Would he be worth it for a year and a half?

Colorado would have to eat a HUGE chunk of the 9mm next year.

$9 million is too expensive for Charles Johnson, even if Colorado eats some of his contract. He is also under contract for next season at $9 million. If you're willing to pay that much for a catcher, you may as well get Kendall and his $11 million a year contract. Both Kendall and Charles Johnson are too damn expensive. I'd would rather get Greg Zaun and send down Jamie Burke.
