As was Jimy Williams.

I wonder if that fat ass Berman will get on their case.

Well of course that means that Houston fans are bad fans because they boo people they don't like or don't do their job.

So far, it seems as if Fox had too much control in the player introductions because the suck factor on the intros is at an all-time high. I mean, what the hell is up with the players coming from the stands and walking on top of the dugout? What ever happened to the players just running out of the dugout?

Wow can you believe those horrible Astros fans? They boo the Cubs' Moises Alou and cheer for Beltran the guy they just aquired via mid-season trade!!! Worst fans in baseball!!!!!11

I wonder what would have happened to Sosa if they did that last year and he had been a starter...

I saw Loaiza's bottom of the third inning that he pitched, and I think he looked solid. The hitters helped him a bit by swinging early (except for Bonds, who got a nice call on ball three), but – can you believe it! – Ivan Rodriguez called for an inside cutter! Why would you do that? All it did was make Loaiza's cut fastball that much better.

Loaiza did the Sox proud, IMO. He walked Bonds, but then again, who doesn't, and gave up a well hit ball to left field to Rolen, although I think he might've had him struck out before, but the umpire didn't give the inside corner (but, c'mon, right, y'know?). And then, Loaiza got the Evil One to ground out softly to the second baseman.

Way to go, Esteban! Let this build your confidence and start you off well in the second half.

(Maybe the All Star Game does count!)

I've had it with Major League Baseball. As I said in an earlier post, the AS Game used to be a special event. Now, it's nothing more than a giant ass-kissing festival. Anytime a great player makes an apperance in the game, they have to set time aside to tell the world (for the upteenth time) how great so-and-so is. Tonight, it's Clemens. Next year, it'll be Bonds once he passes the 700-mark.

Memo to MLB:

GET A REAL COMMISSIONER!

RKMeibalane

I'm dreading the ass-kissing that's going to occur within the next few years. It's going to be bad for Sox fans everywhere.

Think about it. We have to deal with the following events, all of which will probably occur before Frank hits #500.

1. Barry Bonds hitting #700.

2. Sammy Sosa hitting #600.

3. Gary Sheffield hitting #400.

4. Barry Bonds hitting #715.

Need I go on? This crap is going to get worse before it gets better. Ugh!

Don't forget Derek Jeter leaning on the dugout railing during the postseason. That leads to more ass-kissing than anything.
