I'll take 11-8 or 10-9, that team can bash.

What is your reasoning, or basis for this prediction? Do you really think Pudge and Carlos Guillen will combine to hit .350 in the second half? Do you think Rondell White will stay healthy? Is it Eric Munson's .233 BA or Carlos Pena's .233 BA that scares you? Don't tell me it's the quality pitching staff of Bonderman, Maroth, Johsnon, Robertson and Knotts that has you shaking in your boots. Or how about Urbina and his 4.50 ERA (Or the fact that the team has converted only 19 of 34 save opps)?

Let's see...

Jerry Manuel is not here...

The Tigers have improved...

The Sox often play to the level of their competition...

I'm predicting a 12-7 record. The Sox will be slightly better against Detroit than they were last season, but I still think they're going to lose games that they should win. It's the Sox, after all.

And no, it isn't any of those things, it's the fact that we were 10-9 against them last year and they were very nearly the worst team in baseball history. Now they're respectable. We'll be lucky to win 8 times. On top of that, their park is rather cavernous, which doesn't exactly suit our lineup, does it? Oz will need to use small ball to win at all there.

That was what I was thinking I was looking at Detriot's roster and they have alot of players that have hurt the Sox in the past like Carlos Guillen who the Sox made look like an all star before he was one. Rondell White always had bid hit against the Sox no matter the Uniform and D. Young who does his thing and Pudge who kills everybody.

We were 11 and 8 against Detroit last year, I say 13 and 6 this year. Face it Detroit is not as good as people say they are.
