If the Sox can pull off these two trades, I am printing playoff tickets right now:

1. John Rauch, Josh Stewart. and other Middle level prospect

to Pittsburgh for

Jason Kendall, Kris Benson, cash to pay 1/3 to 1/2of Kendalls remaining contract.

2. Prospects

to either Seattle or Detroit for

either Eddie Guardado, Ugueth Urbina

What Sox 40-man roster will look like for playoffs:

Sox Lineup:

1. Willie Harris/Juan Uribe

2. Jason Kendall

3. Magglio Ordonez

4. Frank Thomas

5. Carlos Lee

6. Jose Valentin

7. Paul Konerko

8. Aaron Rowand/Timo Perez

9. Joe Crede

Sox Rotation:

1. Freddy Garcia

2. Mark Buehrle

3. Kris Benson

4. Esteban Loaiza

5. John Garland

Sox Bullpen:

1. Scott Shoeneweiss - Long Releif

2. John Adkins - Long Releif

3. Neil Cotts - Releif when losing

4. Mike Jackson - Releif when losing

5. Cliff Politte - Releif

6. Damaso Marte - Lefty Setup

7. Urbina/Guardado - Righty Setup

8. Shingo Takatsu - Closer

Nowhere here do i see a hole. The team is then solid, and i think can be a favor to win!!

A) Guardado would be a lefty setup - along with Marte. He'd be expensive to get from Seattle since he is signed for 2 more years at 4.5mm.

B) I'm not sold on Benson

C) I'd love to add Kendall

D) Guadado and Urbina would be hard to get if they weren't being used as a closer - since there are other teams out there in desperate need of a closer. (the Cubs and Mets off the top of my head)

I'd actually be happy with Kendall and some bullpen help so long as the rest of the team stays healthy.

E-LO remimds me of Danny Wright to some extent. He has lost MPH on his fastball and is geting creamed lately. Is he injured and just waiting to find out???? :(:
