I wonder if it has something to do with Garcia. Does anybody know if he usually caught for Garcia when they were in Seattle? Just wondering.

It's probably just a way to make Freddy feel a little more comfortable while getting another left handed bat in the lineup. It also gives the Sox a chance to showcase Davis in case they try to deal him.

Crap, so not only do I miss Freddy's home debut, but I can't see our new catcher in action.

Yeah, back when I was in college at NIU, we had no WCIU or FSN+, I hated it. Not only that, but my radio sucked and ESPN 1000 was a little faint out there. Needless to say, I'm glad to be back in the burbs.

Ben Davis, Timo Perez, Willie Harris, and Ross Gload better NEVER all start the same game again. It's like having 2 Julio Ramirezes and 2 Royce Claytons out there. And Ozzie, Timo Perez should never play center again either. Can't we just have Lee, Rowand, Perez, Crede, Jose, Uribe, Konerko, and Alomar/Burke for like, 2 games in a row maybe? Now it's only 4-2 right now and the boys can still pull it out, but this lineup is crap.

Our lineup has been crap for a week. I don't particularly like those 4 in there at the same time, but it's not that lineup that's producing 4 hits in a game, it's the lack of swinging effective bats. Or, other teams are figuring out that 5-8 pitchers are really buzzsaws against our "vaunted" offense.
