My observation with Garcia is that his performance fades as he sweats more. If he gets to the point that his entire face is covered with sweat, so much so that he stops trying to wipe it away with his sleeve, then it is time to yank him.

If that's the case, Herm Schneider may want to stock up!

garcia just has bad circulation or something, he's always sweaty it seems.

2 innings after being yanked in MN they showed him talking to buerhle and he was still all shiny and wetfaced.

Mine is that a guy whose shown a propensity for the long ball throughout his career is going to give up a lot more home runs at the Cell than Safeco and hence he'll give up more runs. He gave up 2 HRS with an ERA in the 2s at Safeco compared to 9 HRS and an ERA in the 4s on the road. Bet on getting the latter pitcher.

8 IP, 4 ER, 7 hits, 2 walks and 7 Ks - that will get him a lot of wins at home. I'll take my chances with that line EVERY TIME.
