Milwaukee hasn't done it yet. They still need 3 more outs.

BREW CREW WINS 1-0! Beautiful, Clement gives up 1 and earns the loss. I love that. :D: Sheets with another masterful start and then Kolb notches the save in the 9th. Way to send home all those bandwagon losers, brewers!

When Macias struck out to end the game, Chip forgot to say "HE GONE!" And while it's nice we're going to have the Cub loss couple with a Cardinal win (putting the Cubs down 4 to the Redbirds), let us keep in mind that the most important game for us tonight is the one in Minnesota. Since Carlos Beltrán was traded, the Royals are 1-9. With us playing Anaheim and the Twins playing Kansas City, it sort of puts us between a rock and a hard place.

You know, I noticed something. When Brewer pitching took a Cub to 3-2, they struck him out instead of walking him. We should look into that.

But, that aside, Cubs loses, cubs lose. :bandance: The Brewers are going to have to seriously step up this week. With Cinci and St. Louis playing each other, the Chicago National League club must be contained.

When the Cubune arrogantly predicted 100 Cub wins this year, they were basing that on a second-half surge. With all their games vs the Brewers occuring in that second half, the paper was essentially saying "Brewers suck; they aren't any match for the Cubs". Well, Milwaukee is a pesky team and much better than anybody thought. Ben Sheets and Lyle Overbay are All-Star calibre players. Cubs have always had trouble with the Brewers. With 11 games coming up between them in the next three weeks, maybe the Brew Crew can do what the Sox couldn't: put the Flubs out of their misery for yet another season.

Guess I'll have to burn my "Wisconsin--You're Among Fiends" T-shirt, at least for the next few weeks. On Wisconsin!

I was at the Brewers game today, and oh God were the Cubs fans annoying. The attendance was 45,000, and I would say about 2/3 of that was Cubs fans. When the Cubs got a hit or struck out a Brewer, the place erupted loudly-it felt like a Cubs home game, which really angered me. (My brother and I had just driven up to take in a day at Miller Park, we didn't realize it was vs. the Cubs until yesterday). It was VERY satisfying when the Cubbies lost, and my brother and I started a "First place White Sox" chant as we left the park. :D: :D:

It's hard to score runs when you're two best hitters are out of the lineup.

How could you say that? We all know that only we White Sox fans are annoying. Remember, Cubs fans' s*** don't stink.
