There's no way this thing will even be close. Especially, while the Sox are losing 4-0 to the sCrUBS.

Packers. It's the Cubs fans that I hate more than the Cubs players. There are few Cubs players that I dislike. With the Packers it is the total package. I hate the team, their fans, everything.

Also, the Packers keep the Bears from winning their division. The Cubs don't stop the Sox from winning their division.

I hate the Cubs during baseball season, and hate the Packers during football season, so curently the cubbies are my vote.

I voted for the Cubs because I have lived on the Northwest Side of the city my entire life and know more Cub fans than Packer fans, and truthfully, the Packer fans I know know that they are outnumbered and so, for the most part, they keep their yaps shut. Granted, I can't stand those Lambeau leaping, cheesehead wearing, bucktoothed idiots that make up most of Wisconsin (from what I can tell), but I don't come in contact them with on a daily basis. However, since October I don't think there has been a day I haven't been reminded of the presence of the Evil Empire, and thus, they have really gotten on my nerves. That and the fact that the baseball schedule is 10x longer than the football, I have to hear about the Cubs 10x more than the Pack.

Dear Sox/Bears fans,

Remember...when Favre kicks your ass yet again, the Bears fan you turn to for solace is also a Cubs fan.

Think about it.

Idiots? Any state (that's you, Illinois) that falls for Wisconsin Dells as a tourist attraction shouldn't make comments about intelligence...

you're right, from now on i better make sure they're Sox fans first

Anyways, I'm going to have to go with the Cubs. I hate everything about them, including their fans. As far as the Packers go, i hate them with a passion as well, but i've never been to a Bears game (sadly), and hardly know any Packers fans. So it's not as strong a passion.

That's not what I meant, or said. The torch will be passed to Ahman Green. Of course, he'll fumble it & get injured as the Bears D returns it for a touchdown!!!!

Nice job committing precious cap space to Couch. What a marquee off-season move. Tell Brett Favre that I've got two Vicodin in my front pocket, right behind the pickle.

Come back in December, when you're 5-9.

Come back in December, when you're 5-9.Couch would start on your "team."

Come back in January when the Pack is in the playoffs and Urlacher is golfing with some model. But you'll still be wearing his jersey. Because 0 sacks and banging a model = winning the NFC Central, right?

Deal. I'll see you in December.

We'll make a wager on which team has the better record this season. The loser buys the winner a steak dinner.

You win, I take you to Bogart's (a real good little steakhouse in Tinley Park).

I win, you buy me a steak at any steakhouse in Wisconsin that you see fit.

Well this poll isn't for me because I'm not a bears fan but I thought I'd just say there isn't a team I hate more in this world then the cubs. They are my most hated team in sports by far because I love the sox more then any other team in all of sports. My 2nd most hated team in all of sports is unc basketball.

Ah - talking football makes chills run up and down my spine. :bandance:

Anyways - annoying Packer fans is definitely my choice here, cheeseheads, Lambeau Leap, Favre. Everything about them...

As for the Packers - when signing Tim Couch is the biggest move of the offseason, you have major problems. The Bears have had an incompetent coaching staff the past couple of years, this year things will begin to change. For one, our offense will be much improved.

And a couple of years down the line - a front of Harris, Tank, Brown, and Haynes. Damn. With Urlacher and Briggs right behind them? With Tillman and Brown behind them? Wow.

Oh - and even though the Packers have dominated the series the past 10-15 years, IIRC the Bears still hold the all-time series record, so you still got a ways to go.

That's not a troll, it's a dancing bear and it's going to eat a cheesehead for lunch tomorrow.

How can anyone hate any team ever more than the Packers? I mean seriously. You'd think these Packer fans would remember the decades and decades before Brett Favre came along when their team just flat sucked big round donkey balls, but no. Give them one decent QB and they think their crap smells like roses and always has.

Packers suck.

Wasn't I clear enough?

Packers suck.

One more time (for the cheeseheads because they tend to be slower than the average fan...)

It's hard for me to hate the Packers more, because the fans are actually football fans. Ok, so they are weird. REALLY weird, but everybody from Wisconsin is weird. (I have a lot of family from Wisconsin, they wear those Birkenstocks or whatever they're called. They say "soda", I mean come on.)

Packers also have a history of great teams and winning seasons.

The Cubs on the other hand, the fans are complete idiots, nobody really likes the "Cubs", they like Wrigley field and drinking.

Plus, the Packer colors are green and yellow! That's almost as bad as the purple Vikings. Green and yellow, that is more than enough proof why the Packers suck. :D:

I have to say the Cubs. The few Packers fans I know do actually watch football, and you can have an intelligent football conversation with them as long as it is not about the Bears or Packers. I cannot say the same for the Cub fans I know in regards to baseball.

In high school, growing up in Evanston I would have said New Trier. But since I am now in college and no longer really care, I would say Packers.

Maybe it's flawed logic, but I hate the Packers more because growing up they've always been more successful, whereas the Cubs sucked so I never hated them that much because I could laugh at the failures, even worse than the White Sox general mediocrity.

As for their fans who actually know football as opposed to flub fans not really having a clue, that helps my hatred. For this reason I just laugh at Cub fans because I know I am smarter, whereas I view Pack fans with respect [begrudgingly] and generally as equals in the best rivalry in the NFL. I hope that makes sense.

Yeah, how can you not vote for the Packers if you are a Bears/Sox fan? I hate the Packers more than any other team in any other sport. Maybe it's because I'm only 22 and the most of the rivalry I remember is Brett "I can't pronounce my last name" Favre. Plus growing up in northern IL, I know a lot of packer fans, and none of them talk intelligent about football. No matter what you say, its packers rule Bears suck. And of course they always bring up Favre. I grew up hating the Packers, but I didn't always hate the cubs. That hatred only grew with Sammy Sosa.

Same for me, but I must add...living in Wisconsin makes it HELL during football season. You think living on the nrthside is bad? Pfft...I invite any of you to cme up and visit on a Sunday and come watch a Bear game with me in a bar in Packer country.

Edit: I wrote this before I read 1951's remarks...he beautifully displays why packer fans are to be hated more than cub fans. In fact, cub fans should probably be pitied...

Well, I grew up in the 80s, early 90s during the time the Bears were one of the best teams in the league and the Packers stunk. I can't say I had a huge grudge until '89 when they were handed a win with the infamous "replay" game. I probably would say around the time Favre got really good like 95, 96 when I started to dislike them alot. Not so much they were good, it just the whole thing with Favre. He whines and complains when he gets hit, but smiles when a play goes his way and people adore him for it. And of course, when he loses, he doesn't talk to the media and pouts like a bitch.

As for the Cubs, they pretty much stunk growing up and their play didn't effect the Sox. Most of the kids I went to high school with were either Sox fans or didn't care for baseball at all. After the strike, I didn't follow baseball at all. Paid no attention to it. Around '99, I started to pay attention a tad and noticed the Cubs kept getting so much attention. Now, coming off the season like they had in '98, I can see. However, the Sox had a better record then they did half of the year, albeit, it still wasn't anything to brag about. I finally lifted my baseball boycott offically in 2000 and started to go to games again. I kept getting more annoyed of the Cubs and the cuteness per say of them. I also find annoying how Sosa gets so much praise and pretty much a media darling. I don't need to get into that. The whole Cubs is great and cuddley, Sox are bad had gotten out of hand. The fact the Cubs are actually a solid team now, and with the Sox contending as well and playing each other six times a year, I think it's safe to say the annamoisty has gotten to full boil.

Hmm, now its a matter of which fans I hate more. I'm friends with a Packers family, and they know their football. Most Packer fans I met in college seemed to know their football. I met him in '97 when the Packers were a Super Bowl team, and the Bears fielded the worst team in my lifetime. He never gloated, and we always had good talks. I have some close friends that are Cub fans, and you can actually talk about baseball with them. They actually watch it. However, I've come across many Cub fans that their response always is, we have Sosa... So, while albeit a tough choice, I will vote for the Packers because I simply a much bigger football than baseball fan...

Living in Wisconsin, I can't STAND the Packers ... but I still voted for the Cubs, because when the Packers win, at least I can sleep at night, which is more than I can say about the flubbies.

Honestly, I'm surprised at how close this poll is. I figured it would be a landslide with the Cubs running away with it.

I'm a newer bears fan because my interest in the NFL has grown over the past 5 years. The Packers ALWAYS beat the bears so it really makes me steam. While for the cubs other than in 2003, the cubs have sucked my entire life. I only hate the annoying cub fans and a few of the players such as Sosa and "Woods". I don't know many Packer fans because I used to live in the northwest suburbs but ever since I moved to the Rockford area near Wisconsin a few weeks ago I've saw a lot of packer fans. Going to a new school this fall will probably suck when I wear bears stuff so I'll have to be ready to defend the bears, just like I defended the sox at my old school. So for the team I hate the most: the packers because what they do affects the bears a lot more than the cubs who the sox play 6 times a season.

You know, all this talk of the Bears fans hating the Packers because of Green Bay's success has given me some insight into why I don't really hate the Bears.

The Bears haven't really been a threat to the Packers. I don't view the Bears as an arch-enemy; I view them as mostly harmless, if a tad bit fun to beat.

I'm not a Packer fan, but I've been to Lambeau for a couple of games and I gotta tell you, it's fun. Say all you want about the weirdness up there, and I've been called a "fib" more than once in Green Bay, but unlike the masses at Wiggley, they do know their football there. I mean, there ain't nothing else to do in Green Bay; the weather is even worse than ours, and the team is owned by the community. And when the Bears suck hind tit as they often do, I'll pull for Green Bay. Would you rather have the Lions or the --ahem--Vikings win the NFC North? Really?
