Actually, they remain in striking range. some cardinal wins over the Astros and more Giant wins are still needed.

75% chance that IF, the Cubs finish with a better record than the NL East winner, then Moron will devote an article to the inequities in the method in which playoff teams are determined. I mean regardless of record, that delightful sportsman shammy belongs in post season.
