I'm looking to purchase a Thomas Authentic Black Alternate Sox Jersey - the shop (http://shop.mlb.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=1452347) at www.whitesox.com (http://www.whitesox.com/) has them, but they only have sizes 40 and 56 (medium and XXXL), I need a 50 or 52.

They have Authentic Black Alternate Sox Jerseys in all sizes, but as far as I can tell they come with no name on the back (lame).

Does anyone know where I can find one online? I'll need to have it shipped becuase I live in California. Doesn't have to be quick shipping, I just need it by the Sox/Angles series Sept. 10-12.

Any help would be appreciated so I can sport my Sox Pride at those games

Pro Image in Davenport, IA has a sizeable amount of Sox jerseys. They customize them to whatever player you want!

Ebay usually has a very good selection of new/used jerseys. I bought all of mine from them.

I'm pretty sure that Grandstand has no problem shipping out to California.

yes ebay is key for jerseys. I also bought all of mine from there at around 60 % off the price on whitesox.com

If you can't get what you want elsewhere, give Grandstand a call. It may not be on their website, but they can get you almost anything Sox related. I have ordered several things from them, and they are always prompt and extremely courteous. But I highly recommend calling them rather than just going by what is on the site.

Now, I know Grandstand offers $30 and $60 customization. On their website, it offers only the $60 customization. If I buy a jersey from them and bring it to the store, can I get it customized for $30?

Or is there any place where I can get customized jerseys cheaper?

If you're already getting an authentic jersey you might as well not cheap out on the customization. Nothing looks worse than someone wearing an authentic with cheap looking name and number stitching, especially if you're next to somebody that had it done right.

Yeah, but this is for the replica jersey. The authentics are already out of my price range.

I have ordered things from whitesox.com/mlb.com and have had nothing but problems. I have a friend who has had similar problems too. Not only are their prices way higher, but they take forever to ship stuff and more often than not the clothes I have bought from there have been defective in some way too. So if you can buy your stuff from somewhere else, always try that instead of the shops at mlb.com!

Through the ESPN.com shop you can get any regular or alternate jersey for any team, with any combination of name and number.

I've been very pleased with Grandstand (www.grandstandsox.com). Their prices seem fair and they have shipped quickly both times. Shipping rates weren't too bad either. Plus I like supporting a shop right by the ballpark.

Follow-up: Grandstand's prices look cheaper than Triple Threat's.

I can appreciate wanting to support a local shop... however Triple Threat's pricing is much better:

Grand Stand: $184.95 shipping NOT included

Triple Threat: $153.00 shipping included

Pricing is for a Authentic Black/Alternate Thomas Jersey Size 52.

I stand corrected.

Although, if you want blank authentic jerseys, Grandstand wins.

Hrm.

For the future, I'd be interested in getting the early 80's floppy collar jersey, perhaps an Ed Farmer. Would that be available anywhere?
