What would they do with Biggio? Put him in right? I dont think he has the arm...

Beane is hustling out there trying to get a closer for his A's. Would anyone be willing to give up Shingo for one of the Big Three?

Then who would close our games? Marte has been scary in that role when given the opportunity. I would make the trade for the sheer fact that the Big 3 are all studs and Shingo is 35 years old...but the trade would solve one problem while allowing an old problem to resurface.

I dont think you can fleece beane into taking a 35 year old reliever for one of his top 3, all of whom are all stars. If beane is on crack and agrees to it, then do it. Starting pitching is way more valuable. If a guy can throw 9, there is no need for a closer
