Unfortunately, there's not much of a market for second basemen who have lost all ability to hit.
Or maybe Alomar didn't get the message during this past free agency period.

1) Even though Diamondbacks 2B Roberto Alomar has come off the DL, manager Bob Brenly has told him that Scott Hairston will remain the starter. Alomar thinks it would be best for him to be traded.
