View Full Version : Roberto Alomar wants to be traded

Unfortunately, there's not much of a market for second basemen who have lost all ability to hit.

Or maybe Alomar didn't get the message during this past free agency period.

From Lee Sinins e-mail list this morning:

1) Even though Diamondbacks 2B Roberto Alomar has come off the DL, manager Bob Brenly has told him that Scott Hairston will remain the starter. Alomar thinks it would be best for him to be traded.

Gimme Uribe any day.

Poor Robbie isn't playing for a contender anymore... :whiner: Maybe he should ask Raul Mondesi for career advice.

Too bad, so sad.

I bet he wishes he would of stayed.
