The Knights followed the lead of their big league club giving up mucho runs, (16 to be specific) to the Twits AAA team.

Of note, Wilson Valdez was 3 of 5. Borchard hit a bomb. Bad night for Grilli and Dave Sanders.

What's happened to Sanders? Wasn't Sanders considered a decent prospect a couple years ago?

So much for Grilli turning into something we thought he could have.

Sanders has always been a marginal prospect. He had a big year out of the bullpen in Birmingham in 2002 and a good spring training the following year to earn his big league debut. Sanders was never going to be more than a situational lefty type. He got righties out okay, but he still looked to be no more than a one inning type pitcher. Obviously he has hit a rough spot lately. He got his taste of the bigs..... may never get back. That's pretty typical of marginal types. If they don't take advantage of their one shot, that may be it.....
