*UPDATE*

CLee is out to a healthy 250-2 lead in the first four minutes the poll has been up. I think this one may go down to the wire

now it is 362-6. Close, I think Alou might pull it out.

Come on, did I really need teal for that?

I can't wait to see how this all plays out. Do Scrubbie faithful dare to take an ethical stand on this? "Why, it's so clearly rigged." Well, yeah. Duh.

But would they dare admit our technological superiority? Must be something they teach Sox fans at the voc-tech or in some correspondence course. How do you think Cub fans will proclaim the "irrelevance" of this poll, as you know they're going to do. Here's a few of my guesses:

- "It doesn't matter." (Hell it doesn't, this clowns the Tribune.)
- "Only Sox fans would waste their time on that/have nothing better to do." (voting for your favorite players in a popularity contest? We care about our team? We were invited to participate?)
- "We 'know' who the real better players are." (Settle it on the field, gents)

Lee currently has 99% of the vote. Alou has 1 %. There is a 1% margin of error.

Everyone should also vote in the "What is your Field of Dreams?" Poll on ChicagoTribune.com. I am having trouble breaking the cookie barrier thing tonight, so your help would be appreciated.

Threw in a few myself, nice to see a healthy 6000 vote lead. I wonder if the Cubs fans will let these positions go and then truly mobilize for the Scammy SOso vote. I hope we are up to the task if that vote turns into a shootout.

I'm planning to leave a tape dispenser on the enter key at work and let it run all night voting for Magglio. Only problem is I'm going to the game Friday and I won't be able to take it off in the morning. I'll have to trust a Cardinals fan to turn off my computer.

You got a link?
Here, but I don't know how to beat the system for this vote.

Nothing beats clowning the Trib. I can't believe they haven't discontinued this poll yet - or had some of their own tech folks vote up their guys

Nope. Just wait. They will "let us" win all of the categories and write an article about what a bunch of losers we must all be for wasting our time.

Alou is actually getting some votes now.

75 to 25 percent.

Lets keep it going!

They might make the CF poll interesting. Rowand & Harris will both probably be included, which will split up our votes. All of their votes will go to Patterson. We need both of our guys ahead of that sCrUB. Could be a close one.

I think my trusty tape dispenser can handle it. We should be ok.

They stuck Harris in the 2nd Base poll. Not sure if they would throw him in there again.

The program Rocky Soprano sent me a link for works very well actually. I'm gonna be voting overnight at work tonight, hopefull Aaron will be well in the lead in the morning. I wouldn't bother, but with Alou making a surge, we can't just let them come in and steal the last 2 positions. Especially with RF hanging in the balance!

I don't know who did it, but congrats to whoever beat the Tribune system and put the Cell ahead in the Field of Dreams poll.
