The Sporting News picked their 2001 Class AA All-Prospect Team and Almonte was not listed as one of the relief pitchers. Any reason why he isn't? Borchard was picked ofcourse.

Yeah, TSN is a tabloid when it comes to baseball.....


But, that is a total joke, Chiasson, while he had a good year, when comparing the two, statistically, Chiasson can't even hold Almonte's jock.

If you look carefully, Wilson Betemit made the "All-Star" team after getting only about 1/4 to 1/3 a season in that league....total joke....

I'm glad you agree I found it odd myself that the man who broke the league's save record wasn't listed.
