Also done and done. Vote as you're told! Frank at first, Juan at second. If we split the vote, we lose, because the Scrubs only have one candidate at each position. Even if you think Paulie deserves the props, pls remember this is for bragging rights (and Sox Pride).

Frank and Juan are off to early leads. Let's hope more people vote so we can get them onto the team.

done 'n' done......last year.....Aesop La Choy got 33% of the votes......that is delusional.

Sort of a dirty tricky by the Tribune by offering both Uribe and Harris for 2nd base. Smart fans know what to vote but "divide and conquer" could be trouble...

Of course it's a dirty trick...they did it at both positions...but I didn't expect anything less from that fine organization.

What's next, Gload and Perez vs. Hollandsworth?

Konerko vs. Thomas is a little more clear cut, IMO.

Neat, not that I would ever cheat.

But purely for educational purposes, if anyone ever wanted to do this, LIKE RIGHT NOW, all they would have to do is vote, then click tools, internet options, then under the general tab click on delete cookies. Close the internet options, then vote again. And then repeat. And then repeat. Etc., etc., etc....

well thomas and uribe are both losing as of now. good job on behalf of the trib to try and split the sox votes. it is messed up they put uribe and harris, but they only put walker and not grudzeilanek.

Okay, I became dishonest because my deleting cookie thing started to work, so as I started stuffing the ballot it looks like a Cubs fan is doing the same, so we need more people to vote, cheat if you have to. Maybe the Trib is panicking so they are just altering the numbers, but we need more people to vote, shut off your cookies. :D:

Okay, I gave us a nice 400-450 vote cushion for both Thomas and Uribe for the time being, but if the polls are still open for another 5 hours we might need more to guarantee victory. I will keep checking back, I can add 50 votes in about 3 minutes if I need to, or more. I will try to keep us ahead. :bandance:

I basically went to the vote page, told my browser to block cookies from this location, and then deleted the cookies that I had. Then I reloaded the page and it would let me just keep voting. It took me while til I had it set properly, but should work. Good luck.

Seen on a Cubs fansite:

Somehow, Miguel Olivo got waaaay more votes than Barrett. I'm thinking the South Siders are stuffing the ballot box, as they say.

Ladies and Gents -- let's step up and get the vote out. There's no way Olivo should've beat out Barrett in the vote. Let's get Lee and Walker in there instead of Thomas and Uribe.
Nawwwwww

We should at least sit out third base. If Crede makes the team, then they'll really get suspicious.

Also, delete this topic once voting ends.

About an hour left, Frank and Juan with pretty comfortable leads -- about 600 votes for each. Check back here just in case things tighten up.

And don't forget over the weekend! I think the Trib will keep putting up new polls.

I hate to be sour about this but you know no matter what we as fans will get nailed for this. We'll get lableled as cheaters or geeks. They'll be snide comments about "how come they can come out for this but not to the park" and all that bulljive.
Oh well just throwin in my 2 cents.
I just see this as a lose lose.

But as a good Chicagoan I've voted early and often on all three polls so far.

Peace
