No one was arguing that Frank shouldn't start at all or even not the majority of the time. That thread was talking about pinch hitting PK for an entire week. It's Frank's turn to start, and he no doubtedly will.

To me it's really simple. As hot as PK has been, Frank is better. I don't believe in starting anything less then the best players unless that player is injured, has struggled hugely against a pitcher, or just plain needs a day off.

I hope last night was Frank's night off.

The funny thing is that in newspapers Ozzie didn't commit to it at all. I mean would you want a full day off before facing Josh Beckett. It sure makes it interesting. This was my biggest fear...Let's just hope he picks up where he left off.

The thing is Konerko has NOT been hot. I don't get where people say he is hot when he had a stretch 2+ weeks ago. In the past week he is 5-18 with a HR and 2 RBis. Is that HOT??

What do you think? He better. I don't think George can handle another game with him on the bench. http://www.flyingsock.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/eek.gif

Where's the love, George?

Seal, how were you able to vote twice in this poll? :D:

Yes.

Not to say that Paulie isn't a great 1st-baseman, which he is, but pitchers know they can always get him chasing. The best way to strike out Frank is to get him looking, which he doesn't always do. Our lineup seems so much less intimidating without Frank.

Seal, how were you able to vote twice in this poll? :D:I voted for Frank, I only argued PK should get some playing time as well during interleague play.

My guess is that she's 12, and looking forward to entering the 8th Grade in August.
