View Full Version : Twins are in trouble this weekend.

Look for Minnesota to lose 2 of 3 or get swept this weekend.

1. Their bullpen is 'plum tuckered out'. They have pitched a great deal in these close games with NY.
2. Philly is knocking the cover off the ball. If anyone on the Twins staff misses a millimeter, it's gone.
3. Radke isn't taking the mound this series.

If we can win 2 of 3, we'll be back on top by Monday.

Only in last night's game. Each Twins' starter during the Mets series went 7 innings.

No argument here. Thome has always killed the Twins.

He is scheduled to pitch on Sunday...

We've been saying stuff like this for 3 years. It would be nice if it came true for once.

Well we've played a much tougher schedule than the Twins thus far meaning the Twins have a more difficult schedule the rest of the way. I'm not sure how often we've been this close with a harder schedule in the past.

That's true. They can't play TB, Detroit and KC forever.

He is a huge Sox killer as well (as we all saw on Tuesday and Wednesday). I for one, am glad as hell he is in the NL now and won't be around to terrorize Sox pitching. He looks like he hasn't lost a thing since his Cleveland days. If the Twins are smart, they won't pitch to him like the Sox did. :(:

Not sure what you are talking about since the Phillies are tearing the cover off the ball right now.

 You're right about that. If he's warming up it means a loss is emminent, or at least a tie game when the Twins are trying to hold a lead.

At least he's not getting paid Billy Koch money.
