Comments made by Jim Kaat (ex-sox pitcher) and Ken Singleton (ex-Oriole OF)
Kaat on Glover-- Has a great lively fast ball and great mechanics, if he can get his curve over consistantly the sox will really have something here.
Singleton on M. Johnson---As we saw last year this young man has the uncanny ability to pull pitches off the plate and make them look like strikes. It usually takes catchers years to learn this.
Singleton on C. Singleton-- When he bats 2nd in the order the sox are 23-13. I wonder if JM knows this. (I'm assuming that this is not just this year)
Since the yanks and sox have been playing each other, the yanks have hit 1335 hrs the sox 805, this is the widest margin between two teams in baseball.
