Its 2 pm and basically all of the lower deck is sold out. I looked for 4 tickets and ill i could get was last row in the corner of the field or near last rows in left field box seats, the bleachers were sold out. Looks like a lot of tickets have been sold, or given away. I am still going with some friends, but it looks like we will be in the Upper Deck, oh well. There is still a game to be played.

My official prediction is 26,500 ish!!

This is the kind of figure the Sox need to posting on a regular basis. 30.000 or so for weekends and marquee match ups. It can happen. I hope it does.

I want to go but can't... the main reason I want to be there is to boo Koch every chanse I get... My guess is that they'll sneak him out to the bull pen before the gates open and he won't warm up once tonight! Or maybe we'll get lucky and he's be hit by an errant Philly fan battery!

Best single ticket I can get on ticketmaster right now is 148 row 20.

I still plan on being a walk-up; hopefully I can get section 158 or 159, which I have been gravitating to lately.

I am just hoping that after tonight's game their record w/ you in attendance will be above .500.

Let's not forget that the weather appears to be on our side for once! I would love to go but am going to see some buddies of mine at a concert tonight (they are on tour and I haven't seen them in a while). My plan is to go to Friday's game.

They are 2-0 on days when I have brought a sign, which I plan on doing tonight.

I would go, but Tuesday is Softball night. Just to let all my fellow cheapskates know. I just got tickets for the first half price Monday of the year today. Great seats Section 103 3rd row. If you can't go today, pick up some tickets for 6/21. I can't wait to see the Sox beat up on the Braves this Saturday.

I'll be there on Sunday.

Sox are running about 100k ahead of last year's attendance after 25 games.

No, I meant 100k more have already shown up to date - not that they're on pace to draw 100k more than last year.

I see us kicking but, and the Cubs falling out and then all their fans coming and causing trouble

I'll be there tonight with two friends. Hopefully, there will be some LD tix available still when I make it to the walkup window. Nice to see that there will be a good crowd tonight. Of course, I'm sure people are only going because they couldn't get tickets to the Cubs/Cards game tonight.

You can't check for tickets online anymore.
Is that normal for them to limit it to walkup this close to gametime on Tuesdays or could it be sold out?

I also hear that Friday's game has close to 30,000 sold. Had to turn in tickets from the Friday rain out on April 28 for the Atlanta game.

Tickets ?

The only other thing you could do is call the 866 number and have them held at will call in the front of the stadium...

Don't forget to keep him in check we don't want him booing anyone, as that is such a classless tradition that continues only on the south side in Chicago!

In the spirit of "if you don't have something nice to say about somebody then don't say anything at all" I refer to the Cubs as the "other team". There's a Comcast billboard near my house with the Sox and Cubs logo on it and now my son thinks the Cubs logo also means "White Sox". I'll have to disabuse him of that quickly - but without actually uttering the "C" word.

Tonights attendance: 33,000!!!

I'm sure the Chicago media will still spin it in a negative way. It's only because of the 1/2 price discount, it was less than the Cubs attendance (but not by much!) The park still had some empty blue seats, everyone likes the Cubs and NO ONE likes the Sox, blah blah blah....

I just got back from the game, i walked up about 5 oclock and got 3 lower box in 155. 33000 people looks cool at the cell, i was up at the concourse for the 7th inning strech and seeing everyone on their feet at the cell is a pretty amazing sight.....lol it kinda took my breath away. Also this crowd was pretty into the game considering it was a blowout. i just cant wait for friday this week when itll be filled and also the friday game vs the cubs which will be filled. That should be fun!

I like big crowds, and today was a great sign especialy with us playing like crap on the West Coast. Namely Crotch that is. I guess it was bigger because the little ones are out of school now.

I was shocked, got there around six, already bought our tix for bleachers online. We tried to sit on the fan deck, was already full. Went to the Bullpen Bar, already full. Just for the hell of it we dicided to go sit in the UD to have some space and breeze. We were closer to the foul pole than home plate on the third base side, halfway up the UD. Amazingly we had to move twice. It was great seeing more and more people filling up the UD. I dont remember it being that full since the Yankees games. And the crowd was great. A little boisterous but no fights or anything like that. Had a great time. Hopefully we can hover around the 30K mark all year. Just great seeing the park full.
