More than likely Buerhle will out pitch him but still get a loss

Madson is 3-1 with a sub 2.00 ERA this season.

All in relief though, for what that may or may not be worth.

Sub 2 is short changing him. I think it's 1.07.

Bowa said he's not throwing more than 60 pitches, so either way we should have a good shot today. Hopefully it'll take him 30 to get out of the first inning.

Well it's because I have such a vendetta against him.

So is his 1.07 ERA like Neal Cotts' 2.37 ERA before starting in Minnesota?

Even our popup hitters tend to work the count for at least a bit, so we won't see a whole lot of this guy; if we average 5 pitches an at-bat, that gives the Phillies 4 innings of shutout ball, then we can get to work on the bullpen.

Although I love that the Sox are pounding him...he's on my fantasy team. I have a feeling I won't win ERA this week. :whiner:

Good idea. I was trying to separate my emotions from playing.
