Last night in the 8th inning Shingo threw a 3 up 3 down inning. I'm sure most of you noticed it, but Koch's inexcusable performance may have had most of us forgetting it. Anyways I think Shingo is finally ready to be our number 1 starter. He has tricky pitches and throws very fast. I say give the Shingo the job. Anyone else agree?

I had to smile today when the Sun-Times used quotation marks -- "closer" -- when referring to Koch. Like: The Bears today released "quarterback" Cade McNown.

Anyone but Koch. I am officially fully off the "Koch should close" bandwagon. Shingo, Marte...Hell, I'd rather see Politte or Adkins out there at this point. Just not Koch.
