I know that the "closer" is the norm for major league teams. But, how many times could we have kept a late/middle reliever in to finish a game this season? Takatsu had no trouble in the eighth. Why would we not think he could face three more in the ninth? I say stay with a late/middle reliever who is locked in!

seems like a no brainer, doesn't it?
was just stupid to not let shingo start the 9th. there is NO defense for not doing this.
