Post 'em here.

BTW, it's on the FOX network as the "national" game here in Chicago. Why am I sure huge swaths of the country are getting fed something else?

We are getting "Bonus Coverage" of the Phils and the Braves up here in Wisconsin. More like Boner coverage if you ask me. I want the sox!

Furthermore, the local FOX affliate isn't even showing the second game today, opting instead for paid programming. This place stinks.

Good to see Joe has returned to form. Only starter without a hit last night. Man he is a big friggin hole in the lineup right now. He really needs to pick it up or somebody needs to buy him a bus ticket.

Willie has officially passed Uribe in batting average, and we left more runners on base. Gotta become a better team with RISP.

I dunno...8 home runs and 22 RBI...He ain't hitting .300, but when he does get a hit it counts for something. His average will come. I say be patient...

It's just my luck...

Sox come to Oakland and there is no TV for Wednesday's game and now they are being televised today and pre-empted.

I reckon tomorrow night either my cable will go out or terrorists will take over the ESPN compund...

I think we got a small miracle. Only one run scored. What we really need are some White Sox runs, lots of them because Schoeny does not seem to be pitching well today.

The offense needs to pick it up because they are really struggling on this trip. We could or should be 3 or 4 and 0, and instead we are just struggling to win our second game. We can't lose today against a crappy pitcher like this.

I mean, this is the SECOND WORST team in baseball.

Yeah, it's good the Twins already lost but I wish our offense would bail this game out. I'd love to see the Sox score in the late innings but without Maggs in the lineup, Uribe in a slump, and Crede not hitting, it will take a miracle.

Yeah. The offense is just awful right now. THey really let the team down on this trip. I wish we were patient enough to take some walks like other teams when the zone is so big. The team just isn't all that intelligent at the plate though.

Why is anyone surprised?

This game is against the West Coast, right?

We all know about the voodoo curse/pagan hex that afflicts the Sox west of the Rockies don't we?

It doesn't matter if we play a team that is 0-50, if they're on the West Coast, chances are that they'll take 2 of 3 from us :(:

If anyone knows WHY this should be, or HOW to fix it, will they please for cryinoutloud tell the Sox?

This team is so sad and pathetic. Franklin, well on his way to another win, was 3-0 with a 1.61 ERA against us last year. And the worst part? It's Ryan Franklin.

Time to put crede onto a bus to somewhere. Where? I don't know, nor do I care, but it's time for him to go.

2 HR and 8 RBI and a .200 avg in his last 24 games. Thats so bad that ITS HARD TO DO. And we just wasted a leadoff double. great.

I was thinking the same thing. Crede needs to miss a few games. This team needs offense. After losing the top offensive player, the Sox can't afford to nurse along someone who is not hitting.

Ozzie has gone on record as stating that he doen't like to use relievers for more than an inning.

I think this is because he can then use them in back-to-back games...

there is a disturbing trend that I just discovered and it is that this team does not play well on Saturday's. They have lost six straight Saturday games not counting todays game.

Thanks for the info.

So, we now expect Shingo in the 8th?

I just hope he doesn't have to pitch to Suzuki (because I want another 3-up, 3-down inning, not because I fear the matchup).

Three walks in an inning against the third worst bullpen in the AL and we don't get a run. THat's embarrassing. I hope this isn't a portent of things to come. Eventually Minnesota is going to start winning. We can't count on them sucking forever.

He's gotta be swinging there! No reason to wait on that pitch. It's the best pitch you're gonna see by far. You know it's a fastball coming and you're a fastball hitter. Why take? Especially considering who is on deck. PK has to swing there. :(:

Joe Crede has to be the easiest out in the majors right now. Easier that some pitchers in the NL. I think needs to sit. Against the NL he can play ninth and let the pitcher hit 8th.
