We had a debate on this issue yesterday at my work. I say that it is not too early, but it is WAY too earlier to say that when we lose and the Twinkies win that it is THE WORST DAY EVER like someone posted on here earlier this week. That thread was a joke !

Actually, that was me buddy. And that day the Sox blew a lead in the ninth and then lost it after after Buehrle pitched great. It was also the day we learned that Maggs would be out 4-7 weeks. And also, the Twins and the Cubs lost, which I said was our saving grace.

Worst day ever? I can think of about 20 days in White Sox history that were 10 times worse than that! C'MON!

Other than losing a playoff game or being eliminated from contention, that was pretty bad.

HOW! How many times this season do you think that scenario will happen? 30 or 40 times?

C'Mon dude, just admit that you said that in the heat of the moment and it was a ridiculous statement!

You were entirely overreacting with that thread.

Did you even read my first post? And does Ordonez get hurt 30 or 40 times a year too? You think I said it was the worst just because we lost a late inning game? WE LOST THE HEART AND SOUL OF OUR TEAM FOR POSSIBLY SEVEN WEEKS WHICH COULD END OUR SEASON! STOP TRYING TO EXPLAIN WHAT YOU THINK I MEANT AND LEARN TO COMPREHEND A STATEMENT, RATHER THAN JUST READ WHAT YOU WANT TO READ!

I'd have to say the heart and soul of this team is Frank Thomas, Maggs is just Scottie Pippen to Frank(Micheal Jordan). Did you notice how when Frank was hurt in 2001 and 2002, the team really wasnt in contention at all?

It is still NOT EVEN CLOSE TO THE WORST DAY EVER. THAT IS MY FRIGIN' POINT

Losing Mags is not going to ruin our season!

Get a clue guy!
