with 13 straight games without an offday, I don't want to see a 4 man rotation in June. KW will get us a #2 type starter - I believe he will.

Our starters have been working too many innings as it is. A four man rotation would be suicide.

Yes, especially in the post-season.

Although this looks nice:
BUEHRLE: 41 starts, 260.1 innings pitched, 30-11 (Sox record in his starts)
LOAIZA: 40 starts, 286 innings, 26-14 (Sox record in his starts)
SCHOENEWEIS: 35 starts, 225 innings, 21-14 (Sox record in his starts)
GARLAND: 37 starts, 252.1 innings, 22-15 (Sox record in his starts)

It seems unrealistic and I would rather see:
2004 World Champion Chicago White Sox
and not burn out their arms.
***Sending vibes to Brewer organization for a trade for Sheets!

I agree, an overworked staff will never produce in september and october, and will never be able to keep up the pace they are going at.

A rumor is just that, a rumor. Not to bust your bubble, but chances are it doesn't work out. I think only 5% of all deals proposed get approved and done and most likely less.

I have faith in Timmy Williams. He knows how to get those great players, and I don't think this year will be any different. And I think he has already made it clear that he is not looking for a "5th" starter, he is looking for another 1-3 starter, which is good news also.

I'm already extremely nervous about how deep our guys are working into games as it is. A four-man rotation is not the way to go. It's ok in the playoffs and maybe the last week of the season, but not in June.

Case in point: E-Lo in September, ran in on fumes.
