JUST ASKING: The Mets planned to inquire about Jon Rauch, the 6-11 White Sox pitcher who drove home to Louisville after getting knocked out of Saturday's game in the fourth inning, drawing the ire of GM Ken Williams. Rauch, Baseball America's 2000 minor-league Player of the Year, has a 2-2 record and 7.24 ERA in nine career big-league appearances.http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/story/198523p-171436c.html

I'll only take Reyes if he doesn't bring his mystery hamstring with him.

Matt Ginter has done well starting for the Mets, something the Sox seemed to have given up on with Ginter.

Thats because GINTER is pitching in the National League.
The Mets inquiring about Rauch (they too are guilty of loving anything AL related) is like a Hobo walking into a BMW dealership and asking about the new M-series cars .......

Ginter's pitching in the NL, don't take too much stock into how he does. He probably would fare a lot worse with having to face a DH.
