Colorado Rockies shortstop Royce Clayton, 34, who entered Saturday hitting .308, credits his turnaround to a new philosophy-

"Early in my career, let's face it, you are experiencing yourself as a single man, and you are doing everything 100 mph- playing hard, living hard. You realize you can't do that to survive. Now I know how to prepare myself.

"It's called P.I.M.P. juice, and we got it."

I heard from several people that Royce was dating Thomas' ex while a member of the White Sox.
