Loaiza has 2 of the 3 best pitched games this year in the AL....

That is suprising, but then you look at the NL and see that the scores Loaiza got would have earned him 8th and 10th place in the NL. Then again, there is the DH in the AL. Nonetheless, great job by Esty.

Iguana,

I REALLY wish you would post more often, especially during the work week. That iguana is the best-looking thing to appear on my display at work--well, except for my wallpaper of CVN-76 at sea!

That's great to see. Loaiza is actually the only one in the AL to be on the list with 8 IP.

Another interesting fact on that page - only 6 double digit strikeout games in the AL this year - and a high of only 11. Looks like its not just the Sox whose K totals are down.

That sig reminds me way too much of my sister, who also had an iguana just like that. :Shudder:.......

As for the topic...

This was brought up before, though prior to two nights ago when ELo threw his second gem.

If he were in the NL like mentioned earlier, you figure the way he was dealing you could've added two more k's for whiffing the opposing pitcher, and in turn two extra points. Though you might add another walk, because you know in the NL all you have to do is walk the catcher and get the pitcher out.
