I love the "Turn Back The Clock" promotions and seeing the older uniforms. I hope the SOX choose the Bill Melton era red pinstripes this season. Last year's 20 year salute to the 83' "Softball Jersey" SOX uniforms was fun, however I think the Red Pinstripes are over due.

Any other fan favorites? Perhaps the Veck-era Shorts?! Doh! :D:

I'd love to see the shorts at least one more time, still my all time favorites, if even temporary in their day ...

I'd love to see either the red pinstripes from 1971-1975 or the floppy-collar navys from 1976-1981.

I'm pretty sure that Brooks Boyer mentioned that the Sox were looking into wearing the red pinstripes sometime next year.

I'd like to see a turn back the clock for 1959. Those were nice uniforms and it was the last world series team. Have they ever acknowledged that team lately?

I think we should wear the 1919 uniforms when we make the postseason again.

Floppy collars, or the blue road unis with Chicago in script and White Sox in the tail of the Chicago. I really like those unis.

Seeing Frank in the floppy collar would be cool.

That's my fav. I still want to buy one - having a hard time finding them for under $300.

a good idea would be to wear a different decade one game a series during their homegames. i am sure that would be too much money to do but if they did, auction off the uni's. plus it's a definate that while wearing shorts, they would get a longer SC hightlight.

Bleh... Turn Back the Clock Night is kind of corny, especially considering this franchise has such a pathetic history of uniforms.

What's wrong with Red Pin Stripes? It's the uniform that makes no god damn sense for ever wearing them on the South side of Chicago, but they look cool!

I agree, I'm just saying parading out a different uniform every month would get a little old. If they want to do a tribute to one every now and then (maybe yearly), that would be all right, but having the 1906 version in April and then the 1917 uni in early May and then the 1963 uniform for Memorial Day, etc. would just get stupid.

I still like the idea of the 1919 uni's in the playoffs. LOL!

Boy, here I always thought of it as the "Dick Allen Era" pinstripes..I'd like to see if they can still fit Wilbur Wood in one of those uni's??????? :?:

LOL....I think he was happy when they switched in 1976 to baggy pajama style uni's.

I like the Melton era pinstripes too (note my sig)

The short lived 1969-70 uniform is an interesting one. The main color was blue and the home unifom had piping beside the buttons similar to the Tigers' home uniforms. Home and road Both featured blue socks with white stirrups.

But vertical stripes are slimming.

The red pin stripe uniforms suck. We shouldn't ever have red in our uniforms. That's for Boston.
