In the first four games of the 1959 World Series, the White Sox wore special White Socks, just for this series. I have long wondered what ever happened to those socks and if anyone knows how I might purchase a set. They were never worn any other time and the Sox even switched back to there black socks for the last two games in the series. Interestingly, the 1917 WS also wore a specialy uniform just for the Series and only this year has the WS management thought to bring that look back.

Well, if you wanna get REAL technical, the hat the 2001 Sox are wearing is different because of the S-O-X on the front... The 1917 White Sox's hats just had the 2 blue & red stripe. As for the uniform, that's a pretty good replica...
