As many of you have noted the Sox seem to score more when Gload is in the lineup. I have done some research and found that Gload has started 9 games this season at various positions.

In those nine games here are numbers:

36 Abs
11 Hits
.305 Avg

Sox scores in those 9 games:

8-11 NYY
1-3 NYY
4-3 NYY
4-3 TOR
5-4 BAL
15-0 BAL
6-5 BAL
15-3 CLE
10-3 MIN

So we're 7-2 and have won 7 straight with Gload in the starting lineup. Probably an anomaly but you never know.

Runs Per Games: 7.56

Kinda staggering, I am not sure what it all means but its worth throwing out there. Talk amongst yourselves.

I dont think we have to assign numbers, but I am a FOG. Any lefty who can legitamitely hit on our team is a good hitter IMO.

I'll be a FOG.

Gload is the man. I hope to never see Rowand again, ever.

You all do realize that to be a true FOG, you have to defend him forever regardless of if he starts to suck royally...

There's only one player who I will do that for and it's Frank Thomas. I guess I'll just have to settle for being Pro-Gload.

Those FOAAarons are a funny bunch though...

I agree with the Rowand Idea, but please, let's not see Gload in Center. He should be at First. I'll jump on the let's unload Paully bandwagon now that we have a real replacement for him. When Harris is healthy he should be in center.

I'm a FOG, but I like his current role on the team. Spot start at 1st, DH and OF for injuries and days off. He seems like the type of guy who could thrive in the role that Daubach never got comfortable with.

Any lefty that can hit will help this lineup. And he has hit when called upon.
