View Full Version : Wunsch and Cotts

Haven't seen it on the board, but some transactions have been made.

Kelly Wunsch was called up from AAA Charlotte and Felix Diaz was optioned down.

Also, Neal Cotts is going to start on Saturday at Minnesota, but Ozzie only plans on using him for 3 or 4 innings.

I love this move. Wunsch is more than an adequate replacement for Cotts in the bullpen. Even if Cotts matches his starting performance from last year, it will still be better than Dan Wright or Diaz. And, with all of the lefties on Minnesota, having another lefty starter and a situational lefty reliever never hurts.
