A few ex-Sox players on this team. They might be decent.

Forget the "ex-Cub factor." This team is championship-caliber thanks to its "choice" starting shortstop. :o:

I think adding Colon and his $11MM salary to The All-Budget Team was an unecessary jab at the Sox. Oh yea. That $11MM is quite a bargin.

luis gonzalez at 8 million? there wasn't a single left fielder with comparable numbers for cheaper?

and yeah you know it's the cubune when their reasoning for putting luis on the team is because he is a

Great, great hitter, and an even better person.

LOL! No doubt this team would really really really suck!! They didn't do their homework as Kip Wells is cheaper and better than Trachsel and Colon.

Luis has hit at least 26 HR and driven in over 100 over the past 5 seasons. That is better than any non-steroid using Cubs or Sox outfielder has done over that span of time. He can be on my team any day!

Kip Wells won't be cheap for long.

Don't speak to soon about steriods and Gonzalez. Pull up a picture of him 6+ years ago and today and the body is amazingly different. The production has also increased dramatically. IIRC he was a player accused of enhancement during the original McGwire steriod scare.
