Chicago's sports venues have been rowdy in recent years, recalling incidents at Wrigley Field and Comiskey Park, along with the usual drunkfests on the lakefront. But they haven't been dangerous since the early 1990s, when a series of episodes made news. A gun went off in the upper deck at Comiskey, about the only time we could be thankful it never is inhabited.
