It's time! It's time to get Diaz in line to start for the Sox.

Lip, get ready to write an, "I told you so..." in the event that Diaz loses his first start.

Diaz is doing great!!! it could be time to get this guy a start, when the 5th starter spot comes back up. as long as no danny wright, they should atleast have a chance to win.

That is funny you mention that. David Wells knocked off his own hat during his wind up. It covered his face during the pitch and he drilled Giles. Pretty hilarious

I Iwas rolling on the floor.

Also, Brian Anderson's wrist has been feeling better and he's gettinig HOT! He went 4-6 tonight with 2 doubles, 2 RBI, a walk and 2 SB's! Sweeney went 2-6 and Andy Gonzalez went 2-6 with a HR in a 14-inning win tonight for winston-salem.

...and Ozzie still isn't sure who the 5th starter is going to be come middle of the month???

I think if Diaz doesn't get a shot, we may anger the baseball gods to the point where we experience a wrath on a par with Black Jack's inaugural game at New Comiskey. We may have to burn more than one jersey this time.

Let's just hope he isn't another Scott Ruffcorn. Perish the thought.

Just the mention of Ruffcorn's name makes Lip smile.

They're just keeping their options open, they're fully aware about Diaz. I'm not worried about it. Besides, they probably don't want to say because there are probably trade ideas being exchanged and they are just going to wait and see until the fifth starter is needed before they comment.

Good point about the trade ideas may be afloat.

I blinked and suddenly he's hitting .324 and slugging .568! That's what happens when you get 4 hits every night.
