Psychologically, it's important we remain the "first place Chicago White Sox."
First place is our "hill," and we're not going to relinquish it--even when we lose.

It took 16 long, painful, gut-wrenching innings, but Seattle pulled it out, and the Twinkies are still looking up to the Southsiders. Thanks, Spezio & Randy Winn!

Seattle has a history of being a "vacuum" for Midwest/East teams, and hopefully, this kind of devestating loss will lead to the Twinkees being swept like the contracted bastards they are.

Wow, I'm glad the M's got the call, but that homeplate umpire must have been watching another game. He was out.

Also, that cocky Torii Hunter, who is endeared by so many on this message board, left the game due to a leg injury...hopefully its serious.

When first place teams win, they don't have to worry about watching the scoreboard.

Sure they do. A 1.5 game lead is a hell of a lot better than a .5 game lead.

That was one of the worst jobs by a home plate umpire I have seen. Made 5 or 6 awful calls.
Fwhgahdggfdads must be mad.
