First save opportunity against the Twins and he blows it. If not for the ump, the Twins would have the lead. As it is, it's 3-3 going into the bttm of the ninth.

Seattle sucks. Olerud grounds out with the bases jammed on a full count.

They are going to extras in Safeco.

The Twinkies have had runners thrown out at home ending both the ninth and 10th.

Now if the M's can just scratch run across int he bottom of the 10th...

This game's gotta be over by now. Any updates?

Give me a Twins loser! Come own!

Top of the 15th, still tied 3-3. This is when I hate having MLB TV since I get caught up in watching these late-night extra innings games that keep me up too late.

I am so glad the Sox didn't lose like the Twinks lost tonight. Not only was it a 16-inning heart-breaking loss, but they worked their bullpen hard.

I hope it takes something out of them. That's two tough losses in a row, games I'm sure they felt they should have won.

Thanks to Tinklewhiz for the great throw to nab the runner at the plate. Good job by Blanco putting the mitt on home plate and hoping the runner tags it, too.

Oh, man.

I can't see the games, and the local baseball radio station only does the Mariners games on Sundays. But neither of these teams looked like they played particularly well, if CBS Sportsline can be believed. What's with the Twins runner in extra innings being forced out at second on a ball hit to right field anyway?
