If our D remains this solid, this is shaping up to be the most complete Sox team since '94 (you know, the year we would've won the WS).

Go Sox!!! If there are still doubters in the world that the sox are going places that's sick. We are winning games people, and even though we're shaky in certain areas at times (be it bullpen, ss, cf, etc) we're also covering our ass.

Go Sox!!! Chicago's Proud of You!

Isn't Jose due back today?

No team is perfect. I think if we can add another starter, we are going to be in fine shape.

Jose's only been gone for 51 innings?

Errorless streaks don't take into account Kelly Dransfeldt letting balls fly by him. This is why errors don't tell you jack about defense and why Jose Valentin is an underrated shortstop.

Yeah, Kelly DID have the option of saving at least two of those.

Maybe we could've swept those bastards...

Jose boots a lot of easy plays, but nails down the difficult. You get the errors on the blown easy plays and this 51 innings will end as soon as Jose is back in the line-up.

Why such a big Jose fan? He has been solid in the past, but his best days are behind him. Hes average at best in the field and right now cant even hit AAA pitching. They need to get him producing somewhat and unload him. Uribe is the future SS of this team.

Agreed. A front line starter is currently this team's only true need. For me, CF is a want position. Rowand will hold his own.

Damn, I didn't think it was that long. But don't fear!!!!! Valentine should be back to mess that up soon enough.

And Jeremy Reed is just waiting for a call-up.

Errorless streak?

It Gone! Half of Baltimore's runs, as of this writing, have been unearned.

Ugh. This thread was a jinx, three errors in this game so far.

I blame you for this loss. You mention the streak and then every thing goes to hell and we lose because the streak in majorly snapped.

Send Dransfeld immeadiately to Charlotte. Maybe they should release him outright.
