Sox vs. Baltimore 6 pm Central on ESPN 2. Some national coverage, so I hope we lay it on thick.

It's pouring here. It's been pouring all night too. My PTC is doubleheader on wednesday.

It's predicting a 40% chance of showers tonight in Baltimore until 9pm. Judging from the radar though it might clear out before then. I think the game will get in tonight.

Compared to what this group played in last week, 59 will seem tropical!!

59 is cold? Man, I wish I still lived in DC. I hate Chicago springs. Nothing is more infuriating that experiencing 43 degree highs (in Evanston) in May while 20 miles away it's 70.

maybe ozzie can remedy our national telecast anemia that jerry m. suffered through so publicly last year

hey, fellow evanstonian here [well, i'm currently at college in georgia, but yah know what i mean].

i went to a cubs game [yeah, i am sorry that i do go to one or two a year, not this year as even my cub fan friends say it's too much $$$] last year on may 31--last day of may, mind you- and it was something like 45 degrees with the wind blowing like crazy. i think the wind chill might even have been in the 30s. boring game, too [i like pitching duels but this was just bad offense]. sosa won it in the 16th with a grounder vs. houston.

this will be my first opportunity to see this team, so i'm hoping the weather doesn't screw it up. i just wish it was mark, estaban or garland going. i'm very anxious to see uribe for the first time.

Scho is going for the Sox. Don't give your hopes us. It seems everytime the Sox are on ESPN, they lose. :whiner:

Figures, I'm too close to Baltimore, so the game is blacked out on ESPN2. But university cable doesn't pick up baltimore's comcast station. So I can't see the game except "online."
