View Full Version : Carlos Lee regained his plate discipline?

he has 10 walks in 80 ABs, which is about double his normal walk rate. Could this be a sign that 2002 wasn't a fluke? I haven't had a chance to watch any games [apt doesn't have cable yet] so I'm not sure if this is just a fluky stat or if he is actually laying off the bad pitches again. Any one care to comment?

It's still early and the opposing pitching staffs, especially Tampa Bay, are walk-prone anyway. I'll be encouraged if and when Lee keeps walking and starts driving the ball at the same time.
