So Uribe who is batting at .393 is going to sit.

That doesn't make sense.

Expect Uribe to become the regular 2nd basemen with some time at third over Crede if he continues to hit well

Edit: http://www.dailysouthtown.com/southtown/dssports/pro/301sd2.htm

This just proves my point, but not the 3rd base part

The Chicago Tribune reports that White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said he will continue to find ways to keep Juan Uribe in the lineup once Jose Valentin (hamstring) returns from the disabled list next week. "When Jose was here, Uribe was in the lineup almost every day," said Guillen. "I played him at second and third, and we will look at the best matchup. He will continue to play."
(Updated 04/29/2004).

I just got this off of another site so I guess he will be playing.

For those familiar with VORP:

Juan Uribe 11.9
Willie Harris 1.3
Jose Valentin 5.4 (probably wouldve been higher had he not been injured)

and for comparison purposes:

Frank Thomas 11.8
Maggs Ordonez: 7.8
Vlad Guerrero 11.6
Carlos Beltran 18.4
Barry Bonds 34.3

Value Over Replacement Player where replacement players are statistically below-average at a given position. Here is some more info: http://www.stathead.com/bbeng/woolner/vorpdescnew.htm
