Maybe he can think of a fun promotion to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the strike. It would be a lot easier if the Sox are in 1st.

I am guessing that he would be celebrating that day by handing in his resignation. I am pretty sure that might a bit of a sensitive subject around JR.

This is a great quote. They need someone in that position to turn things around. Maybe this guy can really do something. At least he is in touch with some cold, hard facts.
