Toronto, down 5-1 entering the top of the eighth scored 4 runs in this inning to tie the game at 5.

Still not over yet though. They have a tendency to win the close games like this. Stupid Minny

Yeah, I fear I may have spoken too soon.

I just kinda wanted to draw attention to the game though

C'mon, Toronto, stick your collective boots up their asses...

A 5-5 score against the Twins is like being down by 3.

Those guys are ****ing unstoppable. I don't know how we can ever get past them. They have first and second with no outs now for Guzman. Bye-bye tie.

Actually Blanco got the sacrifice bunt down and they put Guzman on base. Anyone want pBp in the chat?

Well, I can't use the chat, so I'll just post occasional updates here until an admin comes and shuts this down.

7-5 Twins. It's over.

Today's win is meaningless.

And just like that, H-Sac-BB-H-H and it's 7-5 Twinkies. Gardenhire, Satan is calling and says its time you fulfilled your end of that bargain.

Well, I wouldn't go that far. Had the Sox lost today it would've been 1 more game back. And on the plus side, looks like Toronto's bullpen is ripe for the picking.

Actually, it's 9-5 Twins. :D: Traded 4-spots in the 8th.

Well if we didnt win then we'd fall back a game!

And anyways we came back from 8.5 down last year to lead the division by like 4.5 games so April standings are meaningless.

And we're also leading the Wild Card hunt too!

Against KC, not Minnesota.

KC is mortal. There is a significant difference.

The Twinkies are in another league right now, but I don't remember us pulling games out like this the last few years. If we can find a way to win in that crappy-ass dome, we're gonna be in it all summer.

MM, I think you're off base here. The Twins will be in first come October.

Minnesota is 24th in the league in pitching right now. They are 2nd in hitting (runs scored).

That pitching is going to catch up with them, sometime. I give them credit though, they win tough games. That being said, Cleveland and Torontos bullpen might be the two worst in baseball.

Just an FYI, but Toronto has ONE save on the season. ONE.

Oh, and Cleveland has two. TWO.

Who would you rather have right now, our team or theirs?

I say our team WITHOUT HESITATION.

Up until we lost the last five games against them we were 10-6 vs. them. Just don't choke this time. We can beat them, but can we beat them if it comes down to the end again?

I'd say based on recent history, the Twins.

Until the Sox can actually beat the Twins in the standings, they are the team to be reckoned with. I don't care what the stats say.

I agree, despite the numbers on paper the Twins are a force to be reckoned with. Or should be considered that way by the Sox. They better take them seriously and at least win more against them overall this year. IT is still their division to lose as far as I am concerned.
